Teradyn_pff Posted December 8, 2005 Share Posted December 8, 2005 No, actually those Ion blasts came from Y-Wings. Look at 40:18-40:22 in the video. I pause-played through it and one shot pair comes from offscreen in the direction of an incoming group of Y-Wings and then you see another Ion shot pair coming directly from a Y-Wing. The SD looked like it was totally affected but it didn't seem to last more than 5 seconds. I am not sure if any lasting shield damage was done or not because the view went away and the cursor wasn't over that ship anyway. I am thinking such a shot will be the Y-Wing's special ability. It makes sense too. I think that the B-Wing and the Tie-Defender will have longer duration and mor.... bah, what am I saying... they aren't in the game! Grrrrr.
