Darkmark Posted December 7, 2005 Posted December 7, 2005 Thank you, this is just what people were looking for. You might want to take Little.B's comment on board though. Dorkthehunter Posted December 7, 2005 Posted December 7, 2005 Surprised ? *after taking a trip to the ER because of a heart attack from the shock of the begin download link to actually begin the download* Yes! I haven't tried to finish downloading it because I was kind of at the ER when I pressed the first button. Protecting the world from those who have an IQ higher than 30! Huzzah! Junker Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 I think the "Modified Corvette" is actually the Tantive IV under the command of Captain Antilles.I think you are right. There is a red box at the ship which is a sign for a hero unit. Saw it in the video of eaw-fr. http://www.sw-eaw.de/jpg/banner6.jpg
Guest JediIgor Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 I'm disappointed. Everything moves around too fast. It feels like an arcade game than an authentic Star Wars experience that they've been trying to tell us. 10 seconds to travel from planet to planet? Ships that move uber-fast? I think they better slow everything down and allow a speed slider instead of trying to push onto us this "fast fast fast" mode. Now if there's already a speed slider and they were expo-ing the game at "Fast" mode, then never mind, and all is well .
Popcorn2008 Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 I agree JediIgor, Im hoping that they vamped the speed up for the preview. Because the space battle was going way too fast. I remember delphi saying EaW had speed options so maybe they did speed it up. http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/3269/pffuserbar2globalmodnx9.jpg> Petroglyph Forums Moderator> LucasForums Moderator
Hadoken13 Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 we know they can speed it up remember E3 with the super fast troopers and runnig At-Ats there must be some sort of speed thingy
Ghostly_Substance Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/starwarsrts/show_msgs.php?topic_id=24967774&pid=925180 This guy claims he was at the G.A.M.E convention and well this is what I found funny and I told commandogamer that these Rebels are both annoying, good bug annoying. But ya... those damn Corellian Corvettes are super fast! I had 3 star destroyers chasing one, and it was just circling around them taunting them. Oh ya, Imperial Star Destroyers launch Tie Fighters limitlessly... at least that's what the Lucasarts Rep told me... but you can target their hangar bay and put it out of commission The PC there was P4 3.4, 1 Gig RAM, and I believe it was the Nvidia 6800. But the game ran silky smooth... except *cough* when I played the space battles the game froze and crashed twice *cough*. I just stepped away and when the Lucasarts guy reinserted the CD I played again and it crashed again... but when my friend played it, it was fine. Oh well. -One Empire falls another riseshttp://myanimelist.net/signature/EuroSubstance.png http://miniprofile.xfire.com/bg/os/type/2/ghostlysubstance.png
