well time to share snow stories...

 

its so much fun going down a 50 degree angled hill with no way of stopping, and a ramp on the bottom....i caught MAJOR air, but sadly i landed without my sled....ouch!

 

for SNOW!

 

P.S. its a ig deal to get snow in tacoma washington, it only snows here like once every four years! woot for the icy goodness!

I got a couple of snowflakes and we were all going crazy! We get snow, but it normally doesn't stick, or we only get one day off instead of a lot.

ha ha, I have a chilling short story to tell. Well when I came outta my house to go to co-op I almost slid but when my dad drove me the car slid a bit. When I got to co-op everybody was complaining and salting the ice that it was a puddle Ice balls Snow was actually snowball snow when ice was around it.

Oh man... I hate snow. Here in Michigan we had about three inches already, but thankfully it melted. Its only a matter of time until more comes, and I dread it.

 

The only time I like snow is Christmas because it makes it feel like the Holidays. Otherwise I DREAD IT! lol. The 25th of December is the only day I tolerate the cold white frozen water.

i went to one of our local mountain ski places (we have many) and i was sleddin down the mountain racing my sister, she speeds by me giving a little push..unfortunately that push made me stumble, roll and plunge headfirst in a huge pile of snow, i was going like 40 + MPH at he time and i made my own ice cave! time to wait for luke and tear him limb from limb (ESB refrence)

Gah, second year in a row we had a white thanksgiving and it is suppose to snow the rest of the week. Not even december and I am already tired of it. Can't wait to go sledding tho over break.

We had some snow and it iced over. One of my friends was driving back to college after the break for Thanksgiving and lost control of her car. I'm sad because she died in the wreck. So right now I hate the snow and the ice that is formed when the snow melts in the day and freezes at night.

I love snow, Christmas is a really big thing here, so were very relieved to have snow now. I mean, if Santa's home country is snowless, Christmas is ruined! I'm glad that's not the case this year, either.

ok. Here is my first 2005 snow story:

 

Last weekend we wanted to drive to Leipzig (a german city as you might have guessed). The tour takes about 5 hours by car. So we startet at 12.30 and after 8 hours driving we did make a route of 160 kilometers. Thats about 20 kilometer per hour. (About 12,5 miles per hour)

 

The autobahn (freeway) was one single jam because of the weather. It was the first snowy day and this resulted in a lot of crashes because of the slippery streets (an those maggots who still don't have their snow tire on the car...)

 

So we drove off to use the country road but it was jammed also. Then the police told us that they closed the streets until the next day so we decited to drive back. (We managed the way back in about 2 hours)

 

So to be honest, snow is already pissing me off....

 

The day was pure chaos in Germany. In an area we call "Münsterland" power poles were cracked by the wet snow and over 20.000 people where left without electricity for about 5 days and had to spend the night in gymns etc.

KENT ALWAYS GETS IT!!!

 

Not quite yet we haven't. We had hail for a couple of seconds a week ago and apparently there was some snow that didn't settle about 1am some day... but nothing special.

 

Quite frankly I hope it doesn't. I have no desire to stand at the bus stop at 8:00am, half asleep and freezing to death with snow gethering around me. The buses run so badly at christmas time even without snow. If it can wait until I break up for the holidays that would be nice... but since it's a holiday, I won't be in Kent anymore to appreciate it .

Darkmark I was refering to the Februarys of previous years where Buckinghamshire never got any snow as Kent and East Anglia were heavily depositied over before it even got that far inland.

That's just some leftover stuff to make going in to uni more troublesome after a relaxing break.

I want my christmas to be in #@$% Arizona... I'm tired of living in the north, I want to moved back to the south. I miss North Carolina and Flordia, 'specially NC.
