Garbageben Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 Just wanted to say "Happy Thanksgiving!" to everyone here. It's 11pm CST or GMT -6. I know that it's already Thanksgiving for those of you in Europe. Anyway enjoy your day of gorging on turkey (and all the other good foods). http://miniprofile.xfire.com/bg/sh/type/0/garbageben.png
Darkmark Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 I know we don't have it here, at least not on the same time of year or the same way, but 'Happy Thanksgiving' all you Americans. Swiftdraw Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 Washington? Doesn't it just rain there all year long? Almost as bad as living in New York... Try going to Boston sometime in the Fall or Spring, you can go through all four seasons there in one frickin' day... Snow in the morning, somehow reach 90 degrees F in the afternoon, rain all evening, and get friggin' cold at night. Heh... Don't worry Relentless, Dead Turkey Day (or thanksgiving, either or) was once a celebration of all our good luck and that would should be thankful for it all. Now-a-days its a celebration of American obesity! I've known people to gain 15 lbs (or 6.8 kilograms) over Thanksgiving weekend. Ahhhhh, dunna like it that I'm freezing my arse off and you aren't? Wanna switch? I'm considering moving to Arizona or New Mexico after I graduate college. Hot all year round and no hurricanes. I'm now teh lurker.http://miniprofile.xfire.com/bg/bg/type/2/swiftdraw.png
