View battles from a ship's bridge?

I noticed something in the new trailer. When the Imperials tell Vader of the Stolen Xwings. Hes Standing on a Bridge, looking out over a planet and there was a ISD passing to the left. It looked ingame realtime.

 

Are there going to be options to view battles from within ships or is the game going to be doing ingame videos between missions like DOW/WA?

I think it would be like what Ghost said, because one of the missions is to steal the x-wing (if you rebles) so it would not make sense to have it as an opining movie and then do the mission.

in ither the origonal dev intervew or the second Brett says that one of the missions would be aquiering the x-wing(if memory serves me correctly)

I am too, the Empire might get to keep the X-Wing if they foil the Rebel mission. Venators + X-Wings + Imperial Star Destroyer Escort = PWNAGE

You probably wont be able to watch from the bridge in the original release, but I could definitely see them do it in a future expansion. They seem all about improving cinematics in the game.

Battle cam,cini cam, normal cam, other thing cam, why not have viewing from the brige not hard just place the camra in frount of the brigde and add a cutout.

If there is a cinematic portion of the game (recording battles) then it would be cool to be able to watch the battle replays from the bridge of one of your ships in the thick of the fighting. I don't think they'll add a bridge cam., but I hope that they consider adding it to an expansion.

Yup for space anyways Garbageben. For land we could use tank or AT-AT cam. I wanted this but I think I deleted it but I posted about this around the time I joined.

If you mean as a fale or sucsess cut sceen, i don't see why not.

There is a cinematic mode you can enter during tactical combat, but it is not from the bridge. There will also be scripted ingame cinematics like you saw in the trailer and every RTS game before and after a mission.
