well, I think you're right, and besides, if we can stop them from going to hyper space, then it's almost the same, the only difference is that we have to destroy that ship, wich is fun

If you were a cruel commander you could trap the last corvette in your tractor beam and then destroy it at your leisure. First shoot off all their weapons and their comm array. Then you can decide how you want to procede from there.

Let it sit there disabelled for 20 minutes while you go watch tv then get a squadron of Tie Fighters to attack the corvette.

 

(fictional part of the game) Watch the lonely thing crack under the pressure and use its escape pods to drop down to the planet only to be caught by your stormtroopers. Someone else would torture the units.

I think I remember somewhere there was a mention of tractor beams, and it was suggested they were in. I don't know where though, and I don't think it was Delphi. I'll have a look for it though.

If they are in the game just think of the tactics you could use. For example you could fling debris in to enemy ships.

I doubt you could micro-manage a ships systems like that. It'll most likey be used to capture disabled ships (like from ion cannon attacks) and you could interogate the crew and/or capture hero ships.

JFYI TIE Fighters never have Torpedos unless they are reconfigured into TIE/b fighters.

I know that, but nomaly tie fire out long beams, but in a video they fire a line of green spheres at a cap ship.

That is also footage from the original trailer that they put in the new one, so they have probably advanced and fixed it by now, hopefully......
