Sorry, but I have not been here in a while

I kinda stopped checking in once I got to school, and feel really out of date on some of this stuff, although I am extremely excited still for the release. Now, my question, and I apologize if it is redundant from previous posts I could not find as I looked through recent threads, is: Does anyone know what is going on for Music in the game? I would love to have the Star Wars music and I am sure they are going to incorporate it, but the game does not flow as the movie does, and I really hope they dont have standard songs for combat, and non combat, and I would love a constant soundtrack. Does anyone know how music is going to be incorporated or have these details not been released...it is in my opinion that games, along with movies can be made much better/worse by how well their soundtracks fill the missing pieces in the game...

no I have been a member since around the end of May (I think), I'm just more of a passive member of the boards, I get frustrated when I can't be very active because of time restraints, I tend to do more typing on forums (as I did with Heroes of might and magic if anyone plays those) than I do school work or internship work. I do believe this is my first thread, until that everything I could think of had been answered :)

Well i've been wondering for awhile if we can add or own music to the game and/or tell the game what to play when, for example:

 Combat: Breaking a Habit/Ramstien/trance

 exlporing neutral planet: some suspense music

 peace: Normal trance

 Lost: some music you hate

 won: second best music you like

 Battle going on for X amount of time: Hard-Dance trance

Or maybe just mute the game of music and just play in the background which would impact your performace a tad bit while alt+tabing and crashing the game and rebooting your computer :P

thats exactly what I'm wondering...and I missed the Q/A haha, oh well. I just think it would be neat if the beginning of the game had all the tracks that play, and you could set it up to play say "Vader's March" for Empire battles on ground or the "Theme from Ep IV" for rebel space battles -- but not in looping fashion so if you have a 10 minute battle, maybe 3-4 songs would play...the scores for the movies were incredible (I thought)

lol and forgot to say welcome back to the forums. Anyways music tends to make battles more helpful since its not quiet before a storm type of thing :) But extremely calm music just wants me to..........think stupidly in RTS.

Oh Lord no, my head would explode. Of course it would be great to have the option to add in your own music, but I think I'd never use it. Star Wars game, Star Wars music. Other music will just ruin the feeling.

Go Leafs go!
