1st we are deff gonna have to mod the heros not dieing, thats just not right for some of us folks...

 

Next I know the population limit will upset lots if its strick, so we will deff have to edit that, unless u have a slow pc....

 

Fighter squad will deff be something I will edit, like ill prob make it where ties get destroyed a bit more easier, but squads of 12, bomber i might make like grounds of 5. I will deff make the squads/companies of stormtroopers etc a lot bigger!

 

I kno the AT-AT or starships wont be able to hold enough fighters/troops than it should. Its almost a certain, so id deff edit it where a AT-AT holds about like 20-30 troops, then have the realistic number of ties in a ISD such as hmm im guessing about 3 squads of ties, squad of bombers, make another fighter class too.

Lets have a separate list of gameplay and content please :). For gameplay, lets first list the changes which will be easiest to implement like heroes [not] dying.

Yes indeed, and I'm sure they MUST have the correct number of officers on every ISD bridge when you look in or it isn't Star wars, will be totally crap and not worth my money :roll:

Eh number of officers isnt important, but Number in a Squadron is 12 in ALL of the books with 4 in a flight. Making it 5 takes away what is canon fact in the SW Universe

Even with offical statistics, it could be that certain Imperial forces divide their units differently. With a civilization of over 2 million planets, you're bound to get some strategists who think differently.

TFKNS i believe was joking, beinbg sarcastic. Pretty much i think the same, it has to be starwars, they have to stay true because they know they get like 60% sales only from the starwars title alone. Size of squadrons not a big deal because it just isnt and u can cgange it yourself. But if they have things such as a ISD only holding 2 squadrons, now thats b.s.

Why would having something in more than 6 be hard to follow? If they put in more units per squad, then it makes total managing *more* easier because all of your units are subdivided... for example in Rome: Total War you had to manage at most 20 units per battle, as opposed to like C&C where you'd have to individually manage all your units (and yes, I know you can group them, but you could group squads in RTW too).

ur so right, i love it, we pretty much compare this game to rome:totalwar and rebellion, it should be better than those 2 put together if the developersd are smart enough to work with what works and learn from past mistakes

Well AT-ATs actually being produced and outted with troopers inside sure is nice and also maybe up that to like 50 if its 15? From what Little.B said Stormtroopers die with ease so it wont matter. Maybe it be wise to wait and see what the demo shows then we can work from there ?

I'd like (at least with the Imperials) -capital ships- themselves to register as transports in space battles, carrying ground forces. The transports are just unsightly. However, I'd still like transports to act exactly the same way in ground battles.

yea so like unless during the space batle ur transports are going to the planeta nd thats when they get attacked, they shouldnt be in space. Whos stupit enough to do that, u keep em safe in a ISD til its time to deploy

Maybe there is no way of knowing if you have killed all the enemy in a battle? You have to decide when to send down your tropps. IF the enemy has units hidding they can jump out and get them.

 

And why do units have to die like flies? Oh well :?
