Still hope for the B-wing and Interceptor

Quick note about the B-Wing.

 

I'm surprised nobody thought of this yet.

 

Space is COLD, dudes. The engines will naturally be kept cool unless pushed beyond the limits.

 

In atmosphere, you don't get the "coldness" of space, thus the intakes.

 

Anywayyyy....this of course brings into question the B-Wing's effectiveness in hot systems.

Not nessicarly. Surfaces can get really hot even in Earths orbit when exsposed to the sun. Deep space or in the shadow of something it can get really, really, really cold.
