Ghostly_Substance Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 No, you can't! Blasphemy! You speak blasphemy! Cruixify you! Cruxify you! (I know I spelt that wrong, haven't gotten that far in Reader Rabbit)Anyway...how can you save a multiplayer game? You can save replays of the campaign, maybe. But you can't save it and reload it. Actually I bet you can. In Star Wars Rebellion you could save a campaign to the host's computer and start from there the next time you were against each other. So simple that everybody is looking for a complicated answer Well you save when theres a least chance of a battle so then you can easily get back in gear the next day or week and figure out what you were trying to do -One Empire falls another riseshttp://myanimelist.net/signature/EuroSubstance.png http://miniprofile.xfire.com/bg/os/type/2/ghostlysubstance.png
JanGaarni Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 lol go figure. dissapointment Haha! I'm not very disappointed because the 80 planets was just a rumor! That's what all of you get for believing it! jk.jk.jk. I'm just kidding! I am kind of dissapointed, but 80 planets would make multiplayer campaigns impossible (unless you wanted to stay up for like 48 hours) If you do that, you don't have a life! You know, you can save the game. http://www.lfnetwork.com/images/lfnlinker.gifStar Wars: Empire at War.Net Moderator&SWGalaxies Moderator Co-Leader of The Affiliates! -A-- What we do in life, echoes in eternity!- May the pants be with you!
Grand Admiral Thrawn 889 Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 yeha but u cant really do that cause you arent always going to be online together but back on topic: Ryloth been confirmed by Delphi and the planets Bonadan, Corellia, yesila and Aeten 2, yavin 4 and many others have been confirmed by the trailer and screen shots http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n292/Admiral_Antilles/Thrawncopy.jpghttp://img525.imageshack.us/img525/3269/pffuserbar2globalmodnx9.jpg I Support the Resistance!
JanGaarni Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 Well, you're still gonna have to do it anyway. 40 planets arn't exactly a small amount either. And considering there's 2 battlefields to play on, that would make it to 160 possible battles to fight. http://www.lfnetwork.com/images/lfnlinker.gifStar Wars: Empire at War.Net Moderator&SWGalaxies Moderator Co-Leader of The Affiliates! -A-- What we do in life, echoes in eternity!- May the pants be with you!
Ghostly_Substance Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 Well you could also play by mail but that would be hard to do example would be Civ 4 -One Empire falls another riseshttp://myanimelist.net/signature/EuroSubstance.png http://miniprofile.xfire.com/bg/os/type/2/ghostlysubstance.png

Do you have any proof? How do you know of this? http://img74.imageshack.us/img74/1135/jmaster3265signew13rd.jpg

Jmaster3265 Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 Can you show me a pic of or a video stating proof? I want actual proof not someones words, not saying that i don't believe you. http://img74.imageshack.us/img74/1135/jmaster3265signew13rd.jpg
Eduardo Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 Well, If Delphi said that, you can assume that is going to be in the game . School Wars!!! Command your Forces! Crush the School!!!
NightmareKato Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 Borleias and Thyferra (that is the correct spell!) are definitely going to have to be in. Wayland? Not so important, but it IS a place with cloning vats that Thrawn used. And Honoghr. A place to gain Noghri warriors, definitely!
Cain Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 FYI, there is not 80 planets in the game. It's more like a little over 40. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ! I will kill this guys ! > >>> from pcgameworld >>>> http://www.pcgameworld.com/previews/gamepreview.php/id/88/ Delphi you will have to edit or reply this too : http://swempireatwar.10.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=1000 Still 40 + is a sad number - come one guys makeit 60 pls. - The Trivium Organization - Community Manager -- Petroglyph Fan Forums - CoAdmin & Human Resources Manager -
Logain Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 40 is still alot of maps, not many games give you 80 maps to playon, in skirmish or campaign
Cain Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 There is one guy so good at petroglyph that he can make one map per day ! His name is Chris R. ! A well known game designer and master of the maps - Maybe someone should ask him to make more of them - The Trivium Organization - Community Manager -- Petroglyph Fan Forums - CoAdmin & Human Resources Manager -
Teradyn_pff Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Well, the real question I want to know is if it is possible for us to add planets in. This may be a bit more complicated than adding in new units and the like, but I am wondering if the moddability of this game includes the planets too. Well acording to my sources (LEC) - you can mod as many planets as you want. But Delphi could mention the theoretical modable number ?! If this exists. - The Trivium Organization - Community Manager -- Petroglyph Fan Forums - CoAdmin & Human Resources Manager -
Teradyn_pff Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Well acording to my sources (LEC) - you can mod as many planets as you want. Did you mean to say: "mod in as many planets as you want." ?If not, that doesn't answer my question. I am talking about adding additional planets to the galactic map. Guest JediIgor Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Is there a theoretical limit to the # of factions? Because I hope people can mod in more than just the Rebels/Imperials.

Swiftdraw Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Why did you quote yourself from the same post Jmaster? Mistake? Is there a theoretical limit to the # of factions? Because I hope people can mod in more than just the Rebels/Imperials. Anyhow, as I said before, if you know the coding anything can be changed in about any game. So if some one knows how to code it, you'll most likely be able to have more than one faction. There is already plans by various people to mod in different factions such as the Vong and Hapans. I'm now teh lurker.http://miniprofile.xfire.com/bg/bg/type/2/swiftdraw.png
