Phantom_pff Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 Secondly (and not to the thread starter now ), the game starts around 3 years before ANH, as the Devs have said over and over already. Unless they've very recently cahnged the starting time? Yes that was my mistake, i did not see that thread until just a few minuets ago, sorry for the mistake. Also i did read (somewhere) that the LAATs were sill in use during the GCW in the far reached of the empire, so there is a chance we may see them. FinalThe Rebellion was declared approximately 4 years pre ANH not after ROTS! I thought Mon Motha and the other founders of the Rebellion started it shortly after the Senate was defused, which i thought was a few years after ep3. i don't know everything and if i made a mistake at least i will not make it again.
Foshjedi2004 Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 They started to create dissidents in the senate then but it wasn't till later with even more powers going to palpatine that open rebellion was declared. http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa197/knivesdamaster/tags/sith_omguserbar_member.jpg
JanGaarni Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 There were many groups of rebellious people after Palpatine took the rains, but it wasn't until a few years before ANH that the 3 (by then) largest groups merged together to form the Alliance to Restore the Republic, better known as just the Rebel Alliance. http://www.lfnetwork.com/images/lfnlinker.gifStar Wars: Empire at War.Net Moderator&SWGalaxies Moderator Co-Leader of The Affiliates! -A-- What we do in life, echoes in eternity!- May the pants be with you!
Foshjedi2004 Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 That was 3 pirate groups joined together by the Corellian Treaty. Organised by Senator Bel-Iblis before he was declared excommuicatus tratoris by Palpatine. http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa197/knivesdamaster/tags/sith_omguserbar_member.jpg
JanGaarni Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 There you go and call them "pirats" again. You must be an imperial to the bone. http://www.lfnetwork.com/images/lfnlinker.gifStar Wars: Empire at War.Net Moderator&SWGalaxies Moderator Co-Leader of The Affiliates! -A-- What we do in life, echoes in eternity!- May the pants be with you!

Jmaster3265 Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y292/GhostlyPolovnik/EAW%20Trailer%202/eawt21.jpg Captain - "Vader, The Rebels escaped with the X-Wing prototypes"Vader - "Prepare for Hyperspace captain" Yes I have Well if they have no X-wings then that means they have pirate ships or they can copy any other faction slightly. Well then theres a hint that the Empire and Rebels start off from scratch almost or where they left off or began in the beginning. is that from a video? if so can you send the link, i would like to watch it! http://img74.imageshack.us/img74/1135/jmaster3265signew13rd.jpg

DragonValoo Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 At the end of Episode 3, the clones are Imperial forces. This would mean that the clone fighters (which look most like X-Wing fighters) are also under imperial command. I would interpret the fact that the Rebels "stole the X-Wing prototype" as being that the Imperials decide to expand the clone fighter technology, and produce a protoype of the new version of fighter (Z-75 or X-Wing). The Rebels steal this technology and this is how the X-Wings come to be in Rebel hands. Just my opinion.
AT-AP Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 This would mean that the clone fighters (which look most like X-Wing fighters) are also under imperial command. Yep. The Z-95 is old, even in the TPM-era it was considered old (but reliable). If anything the X-wing resembles a mix of the Z-95 and ARC-170, while the V-wing is more like an A-wing spliced with a TIE fighter. The Incom corporation was behind the Z-95, ARC-170 and T-65 Xwing, so I would think they would be basing the X-wing on the first two. However, Kuat sold the Delta-line to Sienar, who would most likely combine aspects of the Eta-2, Alpha-3 (V-wing) and their old T.I.E. fighter into the modern Imperial TIE. EDIT: forgot, Clone Fighter could also mean ARC-170, so you were correct. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a242/CptK/StarCruiser.jpg
Jmaster3265 Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 Well if you stop the the X-Wings from being stolen you could have something like a Tie Hunter instead. I am sure that the Rebels will the X-Wing one way or an other. Its just to symbolic for the Rebels not to have. PS: Here is a pic of a Tie Hunter.http://www.starwars.jp/machine/image/hunter.jpg Are you forgetting you decide what happens in this game? Also back on topic, we don't really know since it was never mentioned in the moves. You can read my topic i made that is similar to this, eh well idk here it is anyway...http://swempireatwar.10.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=1052 http://img74.imageshack.us/img74/1135/jmaster3265signew13rd.jpg

Their are several kinds of "clone fighters" I would assume you mean the "ARC-170" but their is also the V-wing and Torrent star fighters. All of which are "clone fighters"
