[Ghostly_Substance]

Ok I know some of you either hate or wont get this for awhile but I want to mention couple of things I found interesting when I just entered.

 

Intro video: Damn is this ever sweet you in Earth,moon orbit then you slowly zoom into earth but I wont spoil much since you better see it for yourself since its just that sweet

 

Clock: This is a sweet feature. It tells you how long you've been playing and has a ingame alarm (Alarm you set) and tells you when to go back to school or work or whatever you were doing.

 

Multiplayer: Well you can direct play (self explanitory), then hot seat (people take turns on the same computer). Play by email, like hot-seat and when one person is done they send the information to the next person then the next. Lan = (Self explanitory)

 

Other:

No ancient unit killing a tank kind of thing.

AI isn't currupt so they wont attack you for no reason

Act like real leaders and some actually help you out while others use you as a tool, well they also help you and use you as a tool (that I can accept).

Can give your unit to a friendly country for help purposes.

Option to play with one city if wanted in custom game.

It's an awesome game. I had tried the Civ 3 demo and didn't like it, but I got Civ 4 on Ghostly's recommendation and it is great! A good TBS, especially if you are new to the genre (like me).

And Garbageben didn't believe me at first Well we placed 3 times and the last 2 times we had fun, even with the barbarians knocking at our doorstep. Everything about this game is just fun and we both try and fetch as many resources as possible.

 

One thing you have to work at it Ben that you should make your people happy. keep the Research and tunes to 50% both and you should be fine since I am (Dont call me noob since i'm learning also). Have many workers in your city to keep it pollution free which I learned 30 min before your post Garbageben That solves most of our problems now.
