I have heard rumors from fan sites and other forums that Lucasarts plans to make a new KOTOR sometime next year and its possible it will be done with the help of bioware, the people that did a great job on the first one. Just a rumor though. Who knows any different.

well the first two games got pretty good sales so i assume that they are probably going to, havn't heard anything about it yet

I hope so! The ending of Kotor 2 was pretty much setting the plot for a new installment.

i cant believe anyone liked KOTOR2's ending it completely sucked yes it did set up for another Game but it really didnt make all that much sense as the Ending doesnt give you the choice its meant to

Anyway, I would like KotOR 3 to come, but I doubt my computer could run it. My video memory was in the "warning" level in KotOR 1 and 2, and I'm not the kind of guy that likes to upgrade his computer.

It is without question that there will be a KOTOR 3. Look for more news after EAW release, since LA has recently said they will now be focusing on only about 2 games a year.

I can almost guarantee a third KOTOR. They dont care much about ending the story, they only care about making money. And since they already got fans hooked to the story, they have a pretty strong market for the game.

plus it fits the star wars idea of trilogies.

 

I think this one will wrap up the Revan story. Not saying there wont be a KOTOR 4, I just think it wont involve the Revan timeline.

It may be easy, but that's not why people like it. People like the story aspect to the game, not the action. I know I enjoyed the story very much. Sometimes the easiest games are the best, and this is the case.

exactly, it is not suppose to be hard, you are playing to play through a "movie". Also making it too hard would deter replay value, since the replay value comes from being able to play through it again as light or dark. If it was to hard I don't think you wuld want to play through it again. I thought it was fairly challenging tho.

 

In my opinion tho it is the best story in any game, minus just Ocraina of Time.

Yes, some of the puzzles were difficult to solve. They did a great mix between too difficult and just enough.

yeah true it was good that the puzzles were hard like on the Dxun moon in the Tomb that puzzles just difficult enough that you have to try a few times through. i'd like a KOTOR 3 but only if they use BioWare again i dont like Obsidian's work with KOTOR 2 but the first one was cool.

I honestly wouldn't care if they changed the graphics at all. To me they are just nice enough to make the scenery look really good. It is one of those games where graphics aren't that important, but they are good, so all is right with the game.

yeah they could keep to the level of what KOTOR 2 SHOULD HAVE been but have the plot the Exile meets Revan they set out to kill the Sith Empire wit the Lost JEdi. also the Exile should get his lightsaber back.
