Ocarina of time, Goldeneye... and prior to both of them Monkey Island 1 + 2. So much better than the later MI incarnations.

Hmmm my first favorite is the flight sim X-Wing. I can still remember installing the (what was it again?) 12 disks or so. Floppy, of course. Oh those were the days.

Also I loved playing Shadows of the Empire for N64, and I mostly enjoyed the level with Boba Fett.

Lastly, Mario Bros. was awesome as well.

I don't think you guys are old enough but I grew up playing Colleco and Atari and I mean OLD SCHOOL atari. Defender, Crack Pots, Galactica(still an awsome game). PONG rules beep beep beep. Atari used Joy sticks that were so stiff you could only play 1/2 an hour or you would get a sprained wrist and you had to load cartrages. Blowing into them for some reason all ways made them work. I still have it too.

Too old for my taste. They may be fun to play for about 10 minutes for me. I prefer games that have a guided story or missions. Otherwise it's an endless battle, or they just make it where each passing level makes the game more difficult by adding enemies.

You've just got to love the straining sound he makes when he struggles to jump higher... and the pain in his yells when he dies...
