Really have to apperciate when you take time out to come visit a forum. Even though the information you have told us is for the main part dissapointing, it seems for the most part it just changed expections (though maybe slightly lowered). Anyway I liked how you didn't run off when the swarm turned against you

I hope that you can come back and maybe answer some of our other questions (which hopefully will have positive reactions...IE things being in the game instead of things not being in)

Thanks again Delphi.

I am alittle dissapointed, but I doubt it'll keep me from buying the game.

It's still a promising game in my mind, even though it's alittle too restrictive for my taste. :)

As an admin he can ban anyone who breaks the NDA agreement we have with Petroglyph.

May I see a copy of that NDA please? Id hate to get banned for breaking an NDA without knowing I was doing so.

They haven't taken over they are trying to assist with the running of the Forum. We are PRIVALIDGED that the developers are even on this forum. It is simple for them to just ignore us.

There are other Admin and Moderators from Petroglyph who visit the forum.

So basically just calm down. We will learn more in the forseeable future.

Yeah, uhm, I think that NDA only applies to the guys working for this forum, as they are more likely to be in the clear on any secrets than a normal poster ... as has already been proven with the whole SSD debacle. ;)

Fosh, I was of course, kidding. ;)

Why are my jokes today so poorly understood.

 Why yes, good point, Makwu. I would like to see it to.

----I actually think he means members of this forum that are in beta.

I can claim all day long I know some intricated detail and if I happen to be right by accident, it doesn't mean anything.

Someone makes the same statement that is under NDA probably knows it from the game and will get in trouble.

One of the tricks to getting people hyped up about a game and keeping their interest until the game ships is trickling info. It is working with us as you can see. :)

Yea, I imagine this will help build a nice community here. It will probably bring more people and give us more of a purpose for being here (instead of just throwing around ideas and guessing we actually have dev feedback).

reminds me on how the forum I mainly post at came about. Before SWG came out they had a pretty busy forum, mainly because the Devs posted there to update. Eventually a community forumed and we spilt off and made the GAT City forums (in honor of SWG's General Any Topic forum). Years later, after SWG has ultimately failed, our forum is no longer about SWG, but it is still thriving.

anyway, I'm thinking it is possible for this forum to turn out like that (since petroglyph doesn't have an official one). Let's just hope EAW has a better future (and better group running it) than SWG.

Of course EAW will have a nice future since SWG is just a Everquest clone :? Just little changes here and there and done we got a crappy SWG. So far the story hasn't even moved forward even one step :?

Well I love these feedbacks since it helps build a nice bridge of trust (Corney that may sound but its true). Anyways thanks Delphi :) Sorry i'm kind of off beat so my posts have no effect.........

Yes thank you Delphi for clearing things up, I got confused on the SSD thing :D . Now I'm confused on the the fact people are starting to say that EAW will be a restrictive RTS and end game after you blow up the DS, or after so many hours of playing. :(
I strike again!

Always happy to work with you guys. I just want to make sure the correct info gets out and our game is positioned in the right spotlight.

I'll check in later, have a multiplayer Dagobah map to tweak and polish.
