Evilwookie Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 you don't have a floppy drive! wow, what kind of computer do you have? and i remember playin x-wing and tie fighter, those were pretty good games, and the only one's i remember using a joystick for The Rain God

Sparky Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 Yeah I want a game where you control the capital ship and its fighting. I'm not sure how well it would work with other players playing as your fighter/bomber compliment. It would be frustrating to tell your team to take out the other side's bombers and they refuse to listen to you and go dogfight instead or attack the enemy capital ship(s). Maybe that could be the multiplayer mode of the game where you control your capital ship. Should consider looking into Star Trek bridge commander...not quite a flight sim but there are quite a few mods out there that import star wars capital ships into the game...you had no fighters...but you could put them in as allys...especially fun when you have a SSD taking on a fleet of federation ships... Check out BC Files for all the mods for the games...and theres a lot of them. Sparky

Darkmark Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 I got called a dinosaur for wanting a floppy disc drive when I got my computer last year. The one who called me it was right, I just use usb sticks now, even when I have the option of using a floppy... My usb floppy drive sits dormant, never used. Poor drive. Stellar_Magic Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 Hell, any X-wing or Tie Fighter sequeal would rock if they put in a true dynamic campaign. I'd love to turn the tide of the war by blowing up the Millenium Falcon or Darth Vader's Tie Advanced in a mission and watching the carnage that would ensue.
