Regarding ship explosions

Obsessive-compulsive? Just maybe! But I want the best damned product those lovable Petro guys can muster!

 

Anyway, I'm sure you know my grievance. ISDs get way-detailed damage graphics and destruction sequences, other starships simply get blown up in one big, anticlimatic, spontaneous explosion. POOF!

 

My concern is whether Petroglyph is going to make it so that every ship gets its own unique death throes. And if not every, then at least every medium-sized/large-sized one.

I suppose it's not blind faith, but I do trust them to make it cool.

I also have faith that they will improve the explosions. I think I heard somewhere that each ship has it's own cool death animation, so maybe the others just haven't been finished yet or something.

Yeah, all we've seen have been Alphas. Even the most recent footage with Hoth.
