He was split between doing one set during the first 6 films (Fed vs Klings), the Cardassian war from Ds9, or a Enterprise E + Fed vs Borg one. I think he dropped it due to lack of support though We may have one. It just depends how many people out there would want to play one should one be made. I like to think if you can't speak Klingon, then you've yet to become something detrimental to society. I can't. I like Star Trek, know my stuff usually, but I 'aint gonna get that obsessed about it. If we look at the game as a whole the gameplay comes quite close in terms of sides, makes it easy to make replacements of the sides. The only problem with that is the number of heroes there can be... There's unlikely to be more than 2 factions, unless they're much smaller than the EAW ones. Somehow I can't see this happening easily, since to add in new factions sounds a lot harder than simply adding units and changing planet names. A Cadassian/Dominion alliance wouldn't be complete without them. I think that from what people are saying they want a Trek set from DS9 onwards? That way you get the prometheus, soverigns, a decent war of what would appear to be 6 factions (reality just 2) with Fed/Kling?rom vs Card/Dom/Breen... with some Borg in there somewhere? I'm also well aware of restrictions I'm sure we're going to have imposed upon us concerning amount of individual races. Therefore I'm predicting that an overwrite of the Rebels and Empires with two 'groups' seems to be the best way to think about it as of yet until we learn more about what it is possible to mod in.
