Models Not Appearing

Hardly a newbie but it's the best place for it.

 

I've whacked a few of the models in with res hacker, followed all the instructions and so on but they won't display when I go into the game, all I get are the standard ones. Funny thing is RebEd displays the new ones.

 

I've put models in before and they've worked fine so perhaps 'm missing something blindingly obvious.

 

 

Also i lost the url to Mask's site, twould be appreciated if someone could post it.

Since RebEd displays only the close-up models, couldn't it be, that you only replaced one of the three needed models (close/medium/far) ?

checked..i gave the Bulwark the Star Defender model and it was still the Bulwark in tactical mode

Khan, I doubt it would be fair to ask them to host an ever growing site with more than 400 MB at the moment.

 

And you replaced 2130, 2131 and 2132 with the Viscount model ? Weird, I never had this happen to me. Do you have more than one tactical.dll perhaps , or did you forget to save the file ?

400mb..thats massive..the models aint that big tho

 

 

yup replaced them..i think 'll reinstall SWR and redownload the models
