Well it could give major resources such as steal from the lava. It could create something else tho so who knows. Maybe its just going to be a headquarters type planet and maybe you could reactivate the droids that were spared but shut down. Rebuild them maybe and the Rebels could use them ? Maybe in EAW 2 tho

more than likely if for no other reason than that it is EPIII content and that is a selling point.

In the EU it was mentioned that the death Star was constructed over either Despayre or the Penal Colony of Horuz. I am unsure which is more accurate as rebellion says despayre but the mainstream books says Horuz.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Geonosis in? If I'm right about that, then Mustafar is likely, simply because its one of the major planets of EP3, just as Geonosis was for EP2.

Death Star Novel Coming in '07

Posted By Mike on September 11, 2005

Starwars.com has announced a new hardcover due out in 2007, which looks to be the one filling the slot left vacant by the cancellation of Elizabeth Hand's Old Republic book. In its place, we've got an original story detailing the origin of the Death Star, written by the dynamic duo of Michael Reaves and Steve Perry. Given the newly revised construction timeline made necessary by RotS, it's difficult to say what form this story will take, but continuity fans should look forward to lots of sources being threaded together at long last. It's going to be interesting to see how things like the Maw and Despayre are affected by new information, as well as how, if at all, many stray bits of the story are dealt with; I for one would love to see Kyle Katarn and Bria Tharen make appearances toward the end, if (and it's a big if) the book covers that much time.

The Entire Canon needs to be rewritten and loads needs to be added to the SW databank. They haven't even got the jedi during NJO part for Corran Horn and the Wedge section needs to be thoroughly updated.

I'm pretty sure it was built over Despayre and then the Empire destroyed the planet. But since we get to write our own story, it might be in :D
