Garbageben Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 Does anyone have this game? If so would you be interested in playing together online co-op against computer opponents? If a lot of people have it we could do skirmishes with teams or something. http://miniprofile.xfire.com/bg/sh/type/0/garbageben.png
Darkmark Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 I have the game and could probably be convinced to play it again if enough people wanted to start a game. Cpu opponents don't really encourage me to play though, since the hardest AI in BFME is easy even by my standards. I play (and have always played) Isengard because Christopher Lee rocks. I don't think I need any other reason. Little.B Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 I have it but did never really played it online. Just sometimes with friends in LAN. http://www.pexsus.com/~littleb/eaw/banner_eaw.jpgFeel the ForceIRC (QuakeNet): #empireatwar
Darkmark Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 Online with the 'quick match' people tend to abuse the strength mordor has over any army early/mid game. People say it gets weaker late game, but with people abusing a catapault bug I can't say I've noticed it. (Though I can't say I've made it much to late game vs a good Mordor. Isengard stands little or no chance) However if you arrange your own games with friends online that you know are in it for a friendly match up then this doesn't matter so much. Friends are less likely to approve a match where the chances of one player winning are far greater than the other. They're also much less likely to quit on you in a team when you're in the middle of 2vs2 game "And the moral of the story is: Appreciate what you've got, because basically; I'm fantastic." ~ Holly, Red Dwarfhttp://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y143/Lord_Darkmark/Forcedbanner01.jpghttp://www.starwarsforced.co.uk

Dorkthehunter Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 I have the game. Elves rock! I will get Star Wars Empire at War over BFME2 though. I think Star Wars is just better than LOTR. Episode 3 beats Return of the King! But BFME was a good game, but the replay value of the campaign wasn't that great after you beat it three times. I'm pretty good though. Might play a couple games online with someone. Protecting the world from those who have an IQ higher than 30! Huzzah! Trust me...I'm a professional.
