Power Allocation?

I noticed in the screenshots from the EaW German Site that the info box says power to shields for the ships. Does that mean during battle some of that power will go to the weapons thus weakening the shields. Talk about micromanagement unless the computer automatically compensates power for weapons. What are your guys thoughts?

If your ship lost much of his shields you can hit this button to get the shields back to 100%. As I remember in the demo the ship still fired at his target while recharging. Maybe this will be changed.

So it's like redirecting Shields from life support or Lasers like in Star Trek and the X-wing series.

Yes. Every ship has some kind of special abilities. Marauder Cruisers for example can do suicide barrage runs against enemy ships/stations. Also heroe ground units have special abilities like the Sith "Force Thunderbolts" or simply using special grenades/mines.

So the space station is a unit ? It seems more like a building to me Well we have Han, Katarn, Chewie also, nice. Them command posts like things remind me of Battlefront rts style if thats what they are. But then I saw resources pop out of it. I'm confuzzled.

My german isnt great but i think its something along the lines of:

Im actually pretty good at german but ive only had 2 years of it yet. When im finished with school ill have 5 years under my belt and hopefully be fluent in it. Perhaps someone more versed could fill in the blanks or correct me.

 

On a higher note i like the fact that certain ships get special powers/abilities.

Well if you look at the screnshot you can see that Han gives you a small %age increase in credits. Kyle has sabotage stuff. Obiwan can heal.

Well i know an apple from a banana and i just can't seem to eat either... one time i got killed by a ninja.... Igor is mean...... i hope that lasers take power from sheilds and engines cause if it don't be then something will must to be doned to kill the fat THEY'RE TAKING TEH HOBBITS TO ISENGARD!
