Hey everyone

well i'm still at USAF Basic Military Training, but i'm in my 5th week, so i have this coming week and the next one and i will be done. i am able to access the pc's here since im on base liberty today, so i decided to come online and post to all of you fools

 

just wanted to let ya know USAF BMT is pretty hard, but i was lucky and got stuck with the easiest squadron there is here, the 322d aka Candyland. heh we get to eat candy and stuff on the weekends when we get base lib, it's really nice. i will be accessing these forums again a week after this coming monday, so you can expect to hear from me alil more if i get enough base lib hours.

 

As for BMT, i really like it. the yelling isn't really that bad or anything. plus i'm kicking ass in everything i do. such as preparing my living area for inspections, my running, push ups, and situps. i'm also getting verydisciplined, i can stand at attention for like 30mins-hour with sweat running down my face and can jsut stand there and resist the temptation to get it outta my eyes and that tickling feeling ^^

 

well ima go post around on this forum now, heh hf with your easy ass civilian lives. i work 18hrs a day

heh yea it's really fun. alot of ppl are getting stressed cuz they can't do crap right or they are too slow and get yeled at. but i am adapting very well. im bout to head off to warrior week this coming sunday...that is definately going to be fun. cuz we get to shoot m16's, do mock battles. an obstacle course and all kinds of fun stuff, even get to go out every night and raid the enemy squadron's tents and stuff

 

even though BMT is fun, i still can't wait till i graduate on Sep. 2nd, so i can get to my tech school and begin playing bf2 online again. speaking of which, ima prolly go to the net cafe here on base in a few mins and play some bf2 online with some of my fellow wingmen or sumthin.

i just graduated from BMT today, i'm on base lib, about to go on town pass soon tho, just thought i'd come by and say hello.

 

i also have some news, my tech school's base, which is in Mississippi, was blown off the map by hurricane katrina, so ima be held over here at lackland till october 3rd most likely, but i will still come by and post sometimes.

I have a lot of respect for our armed forces. Did you get through Firearms training? If so how did you do? Im thinking i might join one of the branches of the military, my family doesn't have a whole lot of money, and not to brag but im a smart kid and how im gonna pay for a good college is beyond me. If i join the army, navy, usaf, marines whatever and get them to pay for my college i will. Your in USAF are they gonna have you flying jets? A friend of mine has always wanted to fly fighter jets, hes got a pilots license so i guess its a start! Anyways good luck to you.

nah i'm not gonna fly jets. the USAF mainly consists of above average intelligent ppl. some of the other branches like the army and marines aren't really that appealing for smart ppl. the USAF or the Navy is your best choice. it jsut depends on how you wanna live your life. would you rather be on a ship half of the year, or on an Air Force base at all times of the year. these bases aren't that bad tbh. i'm having alot of fun, even while i was in basic, cuz i was palced into the easiest squadron of all (322)

our TI let us run our own dorm and stuff. so we generally had alot fo free time and just messing around in the dorms. that's basically what we did on a day to day basis.

 

 

let me know if you want some more information about the Air Force.

btw, the Air Force service uniform looks a hell of alot better than that of the Navy's...heh, you attract alot of chicks

Anyways since your not getting shippedin a box what are you doign ? Playing Battlefield 2 all the time ?

lol, FAR from that.

I do base details until i get shipped to tech school.

which means basically i wake up at 0445 every morning. at 0730 i report to where they need me to help move stuff or w/e else they want me to do for the day for about 8-12 hrs. from 1700-1930 im on base lib, which means i roam around on base freely. on saturday's i go on town pass, this past saturday i went to hooter's with alot of fellow wingmen and watched some hot ass chicks and some college football ^^

 

on sundays we get base lib allday, that's how i am able to post so much right now ^^

lol, damn 4:45 am all the time, I couldn't do that Lol Hooters, I went to Hooters once and they had some messed up crazy twirly Poutine fries. Tasted good tho and the girls where just crazy (Blonde type IQ).

 

I've been tellin everybody about Google Earth, pretty cool tool when you want to look at any place on the earth Maybe you got something better to look at the whole world ? Lol.

Yeah, google earth is sweet. Really fun to check potal codes and see where your friends live. Sounds like your havin a blast Marcus! Who knows, maybe u'll be runnin the joint some day But, u must be goin through gamer withdrawls, poor guy. Well when EAW comes out, u can get your fill, as will the rest of us

I don't think Marcus will run the USAF. Sadly that job will ultimatly be some Political Appointee that the President hands out to his neighbour's brother's wife's cousin's barber's Son.

 

He could however become an Air Marshal/ General and command a fighter wing like Wedge Antilles.
