Ok, please don't bash me around to hard, but why are we delighted to have http://www.swrebellion.com as well as http://www.swrebellion.net ? My basic thinking of domain names and after dot codes is that they are simply numbers...........yeah?

Is a .net domain different to program than a .com domain?

The banner exchange, please reveal a bit more. I know what a banner is, but what purpose hosted on the .net side of things?

Simple answers guys, I know most of you guys are still at school learning stuff, but me and my generation could never have dreamed of having the resources at our schools/universities you guys have, so don't knock me for holding my hands up and asking, with sarcasim. :)

My ZX-81 made me a fine cup of tea every morning.

Because SWRebellion.NET was our original domain name. We got SWRebellion.Com to move to a better server, but we could not get the .NET domain name to point to this server until it was released by the former host. Now we have it - at least those who thought SWRebellion.NET was gone can now find our site again.

Our own banner exchange helps us promote our site, as well as other Star Wars sites. We're tired of some of these same banners, so we're going to try and keep our banner exchange with some variety.

Some of the new banner exchanges we've joined will also help keep things diverse. Yes, one is for mainly Star Trek sites but all scifi sites are allowed. Thus we hope to bring some other scifi fans here.

Fighting is terrible, but not as terrible as losing the will to fight.
