Vader89
So, im surprised that this hasnt been asked before, perhaps cause i already know the outcome but let's see, so Empire or Rebels first? http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e144/theairsniper/TAS-Userbar.jpghttp://miniprofile.xfire.com/bg/bg/type/2/Sharpshooter89720.pngYou Don't Know the Power of the Dark Side!Click for an EaW Countdown Timer! Ghostly_Substance
Ya it hasn't been posted since its always on lec forums which it gets repeated about 20 times over. Empire first but I have this feeling to switch to Rebels for some odd reason. -One Empire falls another riseshttp://myanimelist.net/signature/EuroSubstance.png http://miniprofile.xfire.com/bg/os/type/2/ghostlysubstance.png
aggie_john
Empires forces look and feel way to sweet to pass over first. I mean dont get me wrong the rag tag rebels are fun to rot for in the movies but in a game I want raw power.

Darkmark
I don't know. It will honestly depend on which one draws me in the most as I head home reading the manual/instruction book. On the face of things I'd have to side with the Empire at the moment, but that's only because we have seen more of them in game than we have of the rebels. It doesn't matter too much, because I'm sure over those first 24 hours of playing the time for each side will even out nicely. Foshjedi2004
Jedi, JEDI, JEDI!!! Rebels 4 Ever!!!! I may play the Empire eventually. X-wings and Y-wings- 20 squads per planet!!!! You will all DIE!!!! http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa197/knivesdamaster/tags/sith_omguserbar_member.jpg
The Saint
The rebellion calls to me. Why? Because they've said the ships cost more, are of higher quality, which means you cant really out produce the Empire and you have to focus on tactics. I view the Empire as being way to heavy handed for much strategy. Fine you steamrole the universe, build an Int, where is the strategy? Where is the life and death struggle? With the rebellion its winner take all or fold and die. With the empire they can afford to lose a planet or two and be in good enough shape to launch a counter attack. Vader89
These results are a little different than i thought, i was thinking it would be 99% imps and 1% rebs, i was kinda wrong. I will play as the Empire than the Rebellion. come on guys, havent you always wanted to blow up a planet with the death star? or mow down the opposition with a super star destroyer? http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e144/theairsniper/TAS-Userbar.jpghttp://miniprofile.xfire.com/bg/bg/type/2/Sharpshooter89720.pngYou Don't Know the Power of the Dark Side!Click for an EaW Countdown Timer! Darkmark
It still looks about how I was expecting, 1/4 Rebel, 3/4 Imperial. If you're trying to convince the rebel supporter out there with the prospect of firepower you might find the problem is that's not going to convince those who want to go rebels, because they're doing it because the rebel side seems like the best one tactically. It's the ones who like blowing stuff up or looking cool go Imperial. DarthCycle
Imperial all the way!!! Why? Because evil is fun (in games). We will crush the rebellion in one mighty stroke!!! Hehe. Things are not as they seem, nor are they otherwise
Foshjedi2004
The Rebellion is a Fire. Gen.Vader
well in pure love for vader and the SSD armada, imperials all the way, then when i meet a really whiny/jerk of an imperial player, ill prolly brush up my rebels skills to annoy the hell out of them. it can be pretty delightful crushing the opposition with your SSDs and then hit an runs that just frustrate them to no end! win win yay! Darkmark
It helps to know both sides in and out. If you know what your enemies options of counterattack are it becomes a lot easier to think up methods of avoiding them or predict their coming tactics. DarthCycle
Actually, it would be interesting to see the correlation between the avatar you use and the side you will play first. Everybody with an empire avatar (vader, emperor, SSD, etc...) seems to be playing Empire first. Same goes for rebels. Darkmark
Well, let's see now. I have the alien at the end of the credits of the original Star Trek... so by that logic, that puts me... ... ??? But you're right, there is a similarity. Especially since Fosh now has a rebel logo as his avatar.
