I liked the movie. Though i didn't find it spectacular, it reminded me of the first time i saw the originals. it seemed that even though you knew the story, he brought back his old magic and still gave it a suspenseful edge to it so you were surprised. It had a certain romance to it that made it good to watch. a definite improvement over the first 2 prequels.

Sorry but the OT Rules!!

Clone wars lasted Years.  It didn't end in 3 years.  Plus The Republic was meant to be fighting against the clones.

EU said that, so the movies are wrong? Oh please.

The movie was great, almost on par with the OT.

It bring upon us more of famine, death and war,

you know religion has a lot to answer for.

The original trilogy, specifically "A New Hope", is by far the most idealistic of all the Star Wars episodes. Though Revenge of the Sith was a great ending of the prequel trilogy. I like how they implemented many ideas that were in A New Hope.

Though the movies are official cannon, so that's the way it is in Star Wars history. The EU authors knew that if Lucas decided to make a prequel that their work would be void, but they took the risk. It's all based on interpretation.

Sorry, but the movies were made by the actual creator of Star Wars, and as such, override all, I repeat, ALL other information sources, official or otherwise.

Lucus might make a new triogy try the super shadow link on my sig

Lucas originally had plans for a set of twelve movies in Star Wars. As time passed ( and age set in) he dropped the tally to nine, and finally to six. Unless he changes his mind, Ep III was the last true Star Wars movie. Not a bad way to go out, though.

The supershadow stuff is fake, and has been proven fake a long time ago, it is nothing more than fan fiction.

Yeah..I read one of the scripts there....It was in complete disregard for the NJO, so I stopped.

Overall, I think the Original trilogy was better.  Not because of the story, the people, the creatures, or anything like that.  I thouhgt the prequals were a nice way to look at things.  My only problem with it is that THEY DON'T LOOK REAL!!!!  The puppets used in the OT made it have a realistic feeling, you know? But this just looks.....fake.

Also, there were a few continuity errors.  The main one is with EP VI.  At the Ewok Village, Luke asked Leia if she remebered their mother.  She said that she did a little, when her mother died pretty much 10 seconds after she was born.  There was no time for any memory to be implanted.  That's just the one that irked me.

Also, even though many of you believe it isn't, I believe that all the inconsistencies with the EU is the problem of the movies.  The EU came first, so any inconsistencies are all on Lucas's part.  He had a chance to make them accurate.  ( I can easily deduce why Jedi are still around after the Temple Purge; it means there must have been a group of Jedi opposed to the fighting, or they were going on missions where clones weren't needed.)

The supershadow stuff is fake, because the prequel stuff wasn't accurate, and the sequel trilogy stuff includes EU stuff that lucas would never include.

Lucas has the number of decision on what is accurate. He came up with the stories long before EU was around. It is his universe and he can do whatever he wants to it, he doesn't have to work with what some petty authors have come up with. Sure he has the final say in what the authors can put in, it is rare that he has any say in them, I doubt he cares what is put in them as long as he is getting his checks. Movies will always be the highest form of canon, EU has to work around them, not the other way around. Any of the EU included in the movies is a miracle in itself and should be happy that it made it in.
