But for the life of me, I cannot see the point of having a SSD in game. Its most effective role was as a command vessel. Really, what good could it do? You the commander are omniscient and don't need all the commanders on board to say whats going on, you already know!!! You don't need the various wing commanders and such, you deal directly with each unit/squadron individually. All it would be is a big fat target for any screwball reb in a A-wing and a waste of precious resources that could be used more effectively elsewhere. If vader is on it it would be even more powerful.One more thing Executor wouldn't have blown up if the DS wasn't there, it was pulled into it because of the gravity. A starwars game of this magnitude wouldn't be complete without them, and they know that. Suspence is always handy -You seem to have an over developed sence of vengeance.
