Remember playing this game and it was the first rts game I played not battlegrounds. I liked the tech and my cities and such but hated the backstabbing computers. It was a ripped version like battlegrounds but battlegrounds was easier to install since you just place the folder, regit it then you play.

 

well to the point. I liked how you controled your territory and waste comes out of your city. You send out a worker to work on it then turn it on auto then it just cleans up, loved it. I also liked how you can explore and make cities anywere. When I was far in the tech tree I used my paratroopers and explored farther lands.

 

I'll list three pros and three cons with the game

 

Pro:

-Great City and outside city management

-Very good exploring

-nice unit action

 

Cons:

-Turns were annoying

-Took to long to get far

-AI backstabbed even if I made him happy, them bastards.

 

Well I played number 3 and loved it and I hated turns from there on since it took to long to get to one place. I'm planning to get number 3 since I like to have an Empire. Would like to make a civ of my own.

 

I didn't get any screenshots since I didn't know how to printscreen back then.

I would rather wait for AOE3 the graphics and the Gameplay revealed in this Months PC Gamer mag indicate that it is gonna Kick ass.

sucks cuz very few ppl will actually get all of them and have the time to play them.

CIVIII was amazing. I had a few bugs when the missions crashed but it all worked out. The best bit is when you are the Brits and Take over the whole of China and Japan before the US can even get close to the coast.

In Civ three I was only going after any barbarians so I used paratroopers to seek and destroy them so I can get gold. Helped most of the times and also got free villagers so I built cities or put them in a low pop town. I played against the USA and they kept on annoyin the hell outta me. I had an edge once but dont know what went wrong. COmputer got formatted and couldn't do that again.

 

Civ 4 should be fun. I like the email feature and wonder how it actually works. Open up the game, load the saved game, make a turn then send via game mail ? Or open up and email
