empier earth 2 is one of the most well thought out games i have ever played

 

then again the only other rts games i have are WC3,Sc and battle for middle earth

i was a really good player on the original Empire Earth (non expansion pack)

 

was one of the most well known Tournament Low (hardest resource start) players

 

name was _GreaT WoLF_

 

after i played the ee2 demo i was like...nah im done with RTS's for awhile.

seems a bit like a rip off RoN. and im more of a RoN fan so i wouldn't leave.

I have to admit that I was also disapointed.

Some years ago we had a lot of fun with the original empire earth on LAN parties... EE2 has some nice features and yes, it is well thought but the cool flair of empire earth has disappeared. I don't like the new GFX, the GUI is to simple and the terrain isn't detailed enough. And compared to RoN the single player campaings are way to short and there is no world map...

haha yea, old empire earth was awesome. spent 2.5 yrs playing that game on MP. only game i currently know of where i would play that game several times a week for that long a period of time w/o getting tired of it.

sadly i have never played the original eem but sence i havent i guess thats y i like this one so much more.

yea prolly so, you'd be surprised how good EE is, but this one glitch in the game practically destroyed the MP. a resource glitch that you could do online...
