EAW has build slots for planets ~

well, after i analyzed that 47min video on full screen. I noticed there are build slots after all. Looks similair to how it was in rebellion, how they would put used slots and remaining slots on the same bar and such.

well anyways, there looks to be build slots afterall, on EAW

 

btw, i have good reason to believe there will be weather effects in the game.

Wow how did u pick that out!? Way to go Marcus! It's hard to make out, but does it say 0/6 ground base lvl and 5/6 space station lvl? deffinatly gives some perspective on how slot's and system construction are done

i believe you are right what you saw, idk what that means exactlly, but i think when it says 1/6 so and so, it has been upgraded once, kinda like in RoN campaign where the cities were certain levels determiend how upgraded they were. i figured there'd be some form of build slots and building upgrades for EAW.

Perhaps there is a structure on the ground like a Factory in that slot. I think i caught another planet when he was moving the mouse over other planets, it was smaller, and it had less slots. Size and type of planet must give bonus to how many structures can be placed. Maybe those 5/6 structures were 1 starbase 4 shipyards? who knows?

So does that lead to similarities to Rebellion? With those Energy that would mean that Coruscant and Corellia would have lots of Energy while places like Dagobah and Hoth could have next to no structures on the planet.

i have also found out that there are neutral planets on EAW. i will jsut copy and paste my post that was on LEC forum thread about cain's 80+ galaxy thread.

 

 

*well there is neutral planets in EAW, when i saw a map of the galaxy i noticed that 3 planets including dagobah (idk how to spell it) were greyish in color on the mini map. I saw no rebel or imperial logo over dagobah, so i think it was neutral at that time. How to make a planet ally with your faction i have yet to find out though

it would seem strange if the only way to take over neutral planets is by invasion...i just can't see the rebels acting like that towards neutrals...

so i'm thinking diplomacy will be a factor in this game, which in turn would make sense to how the rebels really were.

 

40 planets is enough for EAW, but i really hope we can get 60+ at the very least *

I agree with the Diplomacy thing remember that was also a major part of Rebellion so i believe that the they will be closer in comparison than i initially thought.

Yeah i see what u mean. It looks like for every planet u control, there is a little circle, and your factions insigina. Bespin looked like it had none, thus no faction clamed it.

 

As for diplomacy it's becoming increasingly apparent that there is. the rebellion isn't a conquestive oganization by nature. oh at 28:35, notice how there is a bar on bespin? It looks like it's about 1/3 white, and 2/3 dark blue. Perhaps it's like popular support on rebellion. I saw it on every planet

i saw the bar on bespin move, that cant possibly be a build slot bar after all, it has to be loyalty to something, building something would't take that many bars all at one time, another great find

 

bespin was the neutral planet, not dagobah. Bespin had a solid white circle over it
