K. In the Dark Empire Series by Dark Horse. Luke goes over to the Dark side. In the background of one of the wallpapers i have for the story there is an Acclamator transport in the background showing that Clone Wars ships were still in use about 50 years after the end of the Clone Wars.

I'm betting we'll get the Venerator Class Star Destroyer for sure. It'll probably be the heaviest ship you start out with.

Aegis class star destroyer? Sort of like half the size of the imperial class with equal firepower. But the the victory is in, so there wouldn't be much need for it.

It would be nice to see a few more SD's with special abilities like the Indricator though.

I just hope that we will see some interesting unit types, seeing we only have two factions. I don't want to start a debate about that, but I do want to see some interesting stuff-and a lot of it.

Anyway, another class:

 

Tector-class-a more heavily armoured version of the Imperial class. Lacks a ventral hanger bay (it is a pure fleet destroyer) nor does it have a protruding bulb. Sounds like my sort of juggernaut.

Are you sure that ur not confused with Star Trek as the Aegis Class is a destroyer in that Sci Fi area and also for the US navy!

Are you sure that the Tector Class isn't actually the Impstar Deuces. I think that the Wikidpedia people have it wrong!!

 

There were 3 main SD classes. The Imperial/ Imperiator, Victory, Super/ Executor.

 

The other's were created by modders and set as being true SDs.

 

The Nebula is a NR Star Destroyer class anyway.

I haven't heard of those classes of star destroyer either.

 

After a quick search on theforce.net, there is however an aegis-class shuttle (but not a SD), which is an assault shuttle for ground troop.

 

In terms of star destroyer ship, there is nothing that's even close to the aegis class he mentions.

 

I also assume that "Indricator" is a typo for "Interdictor", which is a star destroyer class ship with gravity wells that prevent nearby ships from making the jump to light speed. He was referring to ship with special abilities...

The Tector therefore is the SD we see that Obi Wan Launches his Jedi Fighter from.

I believe that this ship is the one in episode 3 that he was referring to. It is an earlier version of a Star Destroyer and since the ship in the second link is in the game and was created before the first ship, then it should hopefully be in the game.

Republic Attack Cruiser is my fav early ship which might be in EAW if we're lucky enough. Its still around at the end of the episode 3 which seems to be its still around.

The republic attack cruiser and the venator-class are one and the same.

 

The three main SD's of the old republic were the Victory class, the Venator class and the assault ship or acclamator-class.

one in the same ? I still dont see the same things, one has 1 tower and the other as 2 towers, one has a opening on the top and one has a opening at the bottom and at back and maybe on the sides.

The SD u see near the end of the ep 2, refering also to the 1 with only 1 cylidical bridge is the Acclamator (aka republic assult ship), it is more of a troop transport ship. The Venerator (aka republic attack cruiser) is the 1 with 2 bridges, u see it in the opening moments of ep 3, the ship ob1 launched from. It also has the 2 hangers one on top and 1 on the bottom.
