Do those books take place after the vong invasion is all over?

Yes, Dark Nest is set 3 years after Unifying Force and Betrayal(1st Legacy Book) is set 7 years after Unifying Force So we'll see a young Ben Skywalker in these two series and an adult Jacen and Jaina. Han and the original gang must be going Senile Soon!!
