Well, that's basically all that there is of the interface at the moment :P

There's a significant part of this that is functioning (such as the space combat part I am still working on) it's just not displayed yet. All the game does at the moment is display the icons and all I've created.

Give it a bit of time though. You'll soon be able to build on these and enact missions on targets. Just need to get the display set up.

But if you hear music and you saw a loading screen -- then it's working as planned :D

Oh, well, in that case everything is working as foreseen. :P

Who cares at all?!

Yeah, but don't worry. I've been working slowly on this as of late. But now it's time to haul ass so to speak.

I'll be honest. It's to impress a girl. I want to hand this code over to Ceres (the artist) when the semester ends on December 14... and I want her to be like, "Wow!! That's amazing! Sure, I'll be glad to make the character portraits for you. Oh? Dinner with you? Of course *Blush* You're the man, Mr. Adas!"

Shallow, no? Probably wont happen that way, but hey. Motivation is motivation!

Hmm, your Resources class seems to reference files by their absolute path

Font swFont = Font.createFont(Font.TRUETYPE_FONT, new File("C:/Program Files/" +
                   "/Anachronism Games/Rebellion2/rebellion2" +
                   "/gamefiles/fonts/Starjedi.ttf"));

seems like you forgot to change the path when you included that font in you gamefiles.

Anyway, I'd be careful about hardcoding game resources (among other things), unless you want to give modders a hard time.

Oh. That's a left-over from the time before we streamed our stuff :P

I wont really bother fixing it quite yet until the font actually works without being installed. You probably don't even notice it :-\ It's what the "Loading" sign is supposed to be in.

Getting sound working on linux requires some extra packages, I'm not sure which though.

Anyway it seems that even jlgui is broken in some way (as mute as a fish), probably something with my java libs :(. Reb2 produces no debugging output, thows no exceptions and plays no sound.

Strange. The other two are on linux and it works for them.

It's no matter, really. The sound isn't finished anyway :P That's a back-burner thing we'll grab after the interface is completed.

But I'll see what I can't do for now.

Use the Jedi Mindtrick and the girl is yours. :P

Oh and yeah I've got a date lol. Even without the use of Rebellion 2! And I owe it all to you, Eagle.
