Star Wars: The Clone Wars Game

This is the link to the new game titled Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Its a Wii and DS-exclusive game that appears to be based around lightsaber combat and the new animated series coming out. Seems interesting.

Ugh- those graphics look like pure and total crap. It's 2008, guys. You're on a next-gen console. Those look like the graphics on The Phantom Menace: The Video Game. That came out in 1999.

 

... Okay, so mostly that's just me being angry because I don't own a ****ing Wii.

Umm.. its a Wii

It's processor is basically two processors from the Gamecube. It's way lower than what you'd expect from XBox 360 or PS3, not much better than a PS2.

 

So basically all the great technology you see with The Force Unleashed, yea most of that won't appear on the Wii version. You will, however, get a dueling mode with a lightsaber, since the same team doing this Clone Wars game is doing the The Force Unleashed Wii version.

Yeah, its funny to call the Wii "next-gen" because its graphics cannot even compare to the 360 or PS3. Its the control scheme that makes it next-gen, I suppose. And, if they are smart, the game should recognize your swinging of the controller and match it to your character on-screen. That will be fun, so long as they do a good job of it.

Umm... sorry to burst your bubble but the Wii isn't called "next-gen" they call the Wii "new-gen". But it still looks good.
