So, who here remembers

 

It was on about a year back, and I abruptly canceled it after that one episode. Not because I didn't want to do it, or because I didn't like the script that I wrote up for it, but because it was just too much work to make a full episode- we had to go all over our little island, and we needed too many people to be in one place at once, and we didn't want to try to do extra takes, etc. So we ("we" being myself, Adam, and the other Chris) decided not to shoot any more Road Trip from Hell and to just make other dumb movies- like PPR (Private Public Radio).

 

My girlfriend caught wiff of that and decided that she liked Road Trip from Hell too much to see it go. Adam and I agreed to redo the first episode and finish the show from then on out if she could get twenty-five signatures on a petition.

 

At the moment, she has six. Thus, I suppose I'm obligated to be a good boyfriend and post her petition vid here on the forums, where it's actually likely that somebody will "sign." Thus, here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDvvvnovNT0

 

I'm also doing this in part to brag, but don't pass that along.

Why even the innocent shouldn't speak to the police.

 

This is probably most relevant to the US (seeing as it's based on US law). However, with similarities in other countries, I'd say it's something important for everyone to watch.

Personally, when I watched it, I got a deep sense of dread in the pit of my stomach thinking about how much you can get screwed around even if you've done nothing wrong.

A friend of mine from the US is brewing his own beer again. He already did it a couple of years ago and now that he has a little bit more time on his hands he tries it again. Not the least to say that he loves beer!! Hes of german origin.

 

He has his own little brewery set in his cellar which looks like this one:

He will brew now a kind of cherry-beer and wants to send me a bottle when hes finished. I do prefer pure beer and dont like anything like cherries in it, but Ill stay open minded about that.

And in other news: Tofu has no school today because of Tropical Storm Fay. Day two of the school year and he's already getting off from it! Woo! *Knocks on wood*

 

I seem to be lucky enough to never take a direct hit from a hurricane or tropical storm. Worst damage my place has ever suffered has been limited to a few trees falling over and our outside screen getting torn up. Nothing beyond that, though.
