So I just discovered that this year, there will be a film called "Fanboys". Its about some guys trying to break into Skywalker Ranch. I dont know whether to be afraid or mortified.

Sounds like a funny idea. Let´s hope the film itself can hold that standart. Carrie Fisher, Billy Dee Williams and "Boing!" William Shatner himself will have at least a cameo. Cool!

Oh my God.. that looks amazing! I must see this film! Hahahaha! It's like Road Trip From Hell, only much, much, much better... with actors, and a budget... and a legitimate script that doesn't involve Teletubies....

So the movie came out last week on DVD. I thought it was going to be in theaters, but it must have been a straight to DVD film. Its on my Netflix queue, so hopefully I'll be getting it in by next week.

It was in theaters, though maybe a limited release. I saw it with my father sometime in the winter in Kansas City (who was pretty annoyed he couldn't answer most of the trivia during the movie). It isn't bad for Star Wars fans, though I think it is too "Road Trip" esque.

I just finished watching it. All I can say is that EVERYONE HERE MUST WATCH IT!!!

 

Of course it is a great hour and a half of constant SW references and whatnot, but its so much more. Its a really, REALLY funny movie, and you dont have to be a SW fan to enjoy it. I got the misses to watch it, and she loved it too. Some awesome cameos too, with Billy Dee Williams, Carrie Fisher, and William Shattner.

 

I was not expecting it to be this great, based on the fact that I heard nothing about it. But in all seriousness, you should all check it out. Its a very, very good flick.
