Screenshots

Hey,

I'm playing a Rebellion game with a friend right now and trying to take screenshots of my Star Cruisers beating up his ImpStars. The problem is my 16 bit Rebellion graphics don't paste well into GIMP or Paint. I was wondering if anyone knew how to get clean screenshots out of Rebellion?

I believe you can use something like FRAPS to get good screenshots

Unfortunately, Rebellion doesn't work with the usual screenshot method in windows - you'll need an external program. I was originally pointed to this program when I asked the question a few years back: irfanview.

No, that also doesn´t work. I´ve just tried that. It would also look exactly the same like the screenshot shown above.

Run Rebellion in "Windows mode" and do a +, then paste into your favorite graphics program. Voila, you're done
