Hello everybody, it's my first post here :) English is a foreign language for me, so please also excuse me my possible mistakes and try speak/write to me in simple words ;)

I've downloaded Rebellion reloaded - it doesn't work (string to long bla bla bla).

ok - reinstall (always full install), and Protectorate mod. gameplay has changed, but I don't see any tactical model changes (I don't even know if there should be any). But I thought "it's nothing. I'll download new models and everything will be fine".

So I've downloaded Model Importer, Resource Hacker and new models from this site. This "ini" file has been set properly. I've put this downloaded file in import folder. First was of course ISD model. On the screen I've selected "ISD 1", and everything looked fine (bla bla bla, installation succesful and this view and description etc.). Then Victory ISD, and SSD. I started game to see my new model.

But in the game everything was screwed. My SSD looked like ISD, my ISD looked like VSD and my VSD looked also like ISD...

Complete reinstall, full installation and again - model importer - VSD model - replace VSD.

In game my VSD looked like old original VSD, and my ISD looked like VSD.

So again - model importer - VSD model - replace ISD (I thought it's just a mistake in model importer, replaced ISD with VSD and vice versa) and... it was not correct again.

Can anyone help me solve this problem?

EDIT: I've reinstalled Rebellion again, and now everything seem to be ok, ISD, VSD, SSD (^^) and many other models, both Imperial and Rebels, and they are ok.

Hmm, the only thing that looks wrong at a "I just woke up" glance is your INI. You're asking it to read from the tactical.dll but then save the new tactical.dll (which is where the model data is) to this "ered" directory instead of back to the Star Wars Rebellion directory.

To my memory, and knowledge, it's meant to overide the old one to give you the new data. So, backup your old tact.dll (just hold the right mouse button on it, drag it a little, let go and choose "copy here" - don't even worry about renaming it. Copy of TACTICAL.DLL is fine, as the game won't know what it is.) and change the ini file to:

location=K:\LucasArts\Star Wars Rebellion\tactical.dll
saveas=K:\LucasArts\Star Wars Rebellion\tactical.dll

This way it'll override the dll the game uses and should work. If it doesn't work, you've got the backup dll to replace it with.

Hope it works! :)

Thank you it now works perfectly. Maybe I read the help file wrong and I tought that the saves meant where the program save the original dll
