Just asking if you can make a mod in SWR?

Hi Everyone: Just asking is there away to make new events, change the main characters, etc in SWR? Why I asking is I have few story iteas on making a mod say for Star Wars IV - VI, then a new story what happen five year later. So I want to change who control what planets, what 2 main planets and so on. There so many good characters, troops, ships and buildings what people made that I like maybe to used some for both mods and the character I have in mind too. Please let me know and thanks for your help?

You can't script new events nor add new characters. But you can use RebEd to replace characters, ships, etc. You can also rename planets.

Generally you can't change who-owns-what-planet without hacking the save game file.
