Quickie On Construction Yards

Alright, I have a rather stupid question. What would I alter in RebEd to make the construction yards and such output faster? Whenever I try to do something, it just makes it take that much longer.

Note how by using RebEd you can see the Process rate for example the Construction Yard is 4 and the Advanced Construction Yard is 2. Herein lurks your answer Master Rob! :) I've not tried lowering it except once with the basic ship yard when I got bored of waiting about twenty days for a squadron of TIE fighters to be produced, but when I did it spat them out!

Process rate =

 

how many days per construction cost of thing

 

 

So for example Con yard construction cost is lets say 20

 

so it would take 80 days for a normal con yard

 

and 40 for a adv

 

but if you lowered it to 1 process rate it would be 20!

 

(sometimes I like to lower process rates one everything and contructions cost if I dont have much time and want to play a quick game) or if im just bored and want to expirment

This is also, in all probability, a good way to overcome the needlessly irritating and pointless 'natural disaster.' When the game attacks you planets with the said dreadful thing, overcome it by lowering the need for the combat facilities... this will help out the AI as well given the 'natural disaster' is shagging game play for it at the same time.

 

What cretin ever suggested the 'natural disaster' as a playable concept for christ's sake. All it does is make the game a frantic race once you've built up your fleets and are enjoying character development etc, given hyperspace transport times; for facilities we yet can't alter.
