Eagle Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Hello Ace and welcome! Yeah, x-wing alliance is still one of my favorite star wars-games. I´ve just downloaded the tie-fighter-mod for it. Who cares at all?!

DarthTofu Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Eh? What's this? A newbie? We'll have to put you through your paces, youngin'! Quick, what's the square root of 2,000,982,941? Too much for you? Give me the exact value of pi to the third power! How many feathers are there on a chicken? Come on, answer them faster! How dare you call yourself a Star Wars fan if you don't know these answers! Just kidding with you. I do in fact know all of those answers but I have, unfortunately, been sworn to secrecy. Welcome to the forums. I'm the resident spammer's under-study, apparently. 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away

DarthTofu Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 The first one was correct, but I was looking for the precise value of pi to the third power. Also: I'm terribly sorry, but chickens have 220.986 feathers. Several of them barely constitute a thousandth of a feather, resulting in this abnormal figure. 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
Ace_Azameen Posted December 17, 2006 Author Posted December 17, 2006 Well then. I never thought i would learn something on a weekend. Let alone on the internet. Also does anyone know what game the picture in the top left hand corner is? 99% of people agree, Signatures make you forget your train of thought. Imagine it... A train.. Krytos Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Well then. I never thought i would learn something on a weekend. Let alone on the internet. Also does anyone know what game the picture in the top left hand corner is? Yup, that's the Warlords mod for Homeworld 2 made by Evillejedi. Check the link here: http://warlords.swrebellion.com/wp/Of course, it requires Homeworld 2 to play I think I might get back into Warlords when I get my next desktop. http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://img152.imageshack.us/img152/1333/3dartistbanneranimationws1.gifhttp://img154.imageshack.us/img154/4026/rebellionbannerdi2.gif
malarkie Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 I would. That mod is simpy awesome. Hello Ace, I am that guy who has nothing to say but says it anyway. @ Tofu - Pi^3? Is that acceptable? Disregarding all new evidence everywhere.
Eagle Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Pi=3,145 (and that after 11 years after school ). ...and how many feathers has an eagle? Who cares at all?!
DarthTofu Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Pi=3,145 (and that after 11 years after school ). ... Somebody needs another eleven years of school! I believe we wanted a decimal point] there... As well as an accurate approximation for pi- 3.14159 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
JediHunter Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Welcome Ace! .. and now i have to slap tofu upside the head for something.. Pi=3,145 (and that after 11 years after school ). ... Somebody needs another eleven years of school! I believe we wanted a decimal point] there... As well as an accurate approximation for pi- 3.14159 Um, Tofu.... dude........ in a place called Europe... (or at least a majority of the countries of Europe).. they use the comma (,) as their decimal seperator... so.. actually hes right and you are wrong to correct him... oh and.. a good friend of mine can say pi to the 100th decimal without messing up.. and he tried to teach me.. but.. to the 50th.. 3.14159265358979323846264338327950288419716939937510 "Duct tape is like the force. SOCL Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Welcome to the forums, Ace! Okay, this has turned into a mighty good excuse for spam. I think in the future one of his admins/moderators will make a sticky thread exclusively for the sake of new members introducing themselves. In any event, welcome!
