I found this site via the Hapes Banner Exchange, I was bored this morning. I really like Rebellion/Supremacy, so I decided to try out RebEd, and it is amazing! I'd have payed $40 for that program (if I had $40). Great site! I just have one suggestion: make a patch to make the AI smarter (it's pretty hard to setup a multiplayer match.)

Welcome to the forums - stick around and check out more of the site. Even if you're not interested in the forums themselves, look at the download sections where there are replacement cards (unit and character stats), replacements models and a few Mods for the game

 

Like TJ said, we had a thread a while ago where it was mentioned how to improve the AI ... alas, I'm pretty sure it was lost. Only a month of two ago our servers crashed and we unfortunately lost 4 months of posts

Ah, too bad. Well, thanks anyways. Even on it's first day, I've already found a number of uses for RebEd. I'll take your advice and look around, especially at the models.

There is no way to make the AI smarter. It is programmed in. However, you can set the costs and requirements lower for the side of your enemy, making it harder for you.

I tried the Protectorate TC, and it was pretty cool, albeit the Luke with a Vader mask bit was a bit corny. But it's not like I could have done better, and over all, the changes were well done, so I'm in no position to complain. I read the news about Rebellion Reloaded, and I can't wait to see that when it's finished (I've been drooling over those screen shots, especially the detail put into the Super Star Destroyer).

 

Also, I read about a "Before the Storm" TC, but I can't find it in your downloads section. Is that one also incomplete?

If you're talking about Protectorate, I could understand why. I had trouble myself until I realized that several of the files are "hidden files" which you have to specifically tell Explorer that you wish to see them. I've never seen the point in hidden files that you aren't required to use a password to view...
