Yes, unfortunately they will release it for BF2142 now instead for BF2 like planned first.

I´ve met a former member of the GC-Mod Team, Django, on a GC-Server and he told me, that he´s just left the First-Strike-Team. Because he´s tired of using editors and stuff. But he assured me that First Strike will be a first class mod and that it has a very talented team.
