Krytos Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Wow, that's a lot of non-canon Maul stuff. I rather like the version of him with the cyborg torso hunting down Obi-Wan as a rogue.Awesome pic as well http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://img152.imageshack.us/img152/1333/3dartistbanneranimationws1.gifhttp://img154.imageshack.us/img154/4026/rebellionbannerdi2.gif
Mad78 Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 I found that little story was slightly overdone to my taste. i liked Maul but I wouldn't go that for to keep him alive. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
turtle Posted October 5, 2006 Author Posted October 5, 2006 I agree. Characters that are kept alive or get brought back too often diminish the character, especially if the plot to the story seems a little suspect.
Mad78 Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 Star Trek sometimes acts like that... Which is why I don't tend to watch it. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance

After all, getting chopped in half and surviving a fall down a "bottomless" shaft, crawling away to get repaired and turned into a cyborg by someone - whilst still being on a planet with Jedi and soldiers as well as arriving officials from the Republic and missing everything bellow your lungs But, for a comic book - that's cool http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://img152.imageshack.us/img152/1333/3dartistbanneranimationws1.gifhttp://img154.imageshack.us/img154/4026/rebellionbannerdi2.gif
DarthTofu Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 Maybe bottomless pits have access tunnels every now and again along their lengths? Why, I ask, are there so many bottomless pits in the movie world, and why do none of them have so much as a flimsy safety rail?!? 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
General_Crespin Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Boba Fett doesn't do much for me, I think it's just an anti-fan thing I got going though. I could do with more of Major Tierce, though. He was good. Also Flim. I would love some Hand of Thrawn stories. Pre-NJO. Argh, just thinking about the NJO upsets me. So much changed for the worse. http://crespin.xwlegacy.net/pics/Shadowkeeper99a.jpg
SOCL Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 As far as the EU goes, every character related to the Hand of Thrawn and the Empire of the Hand have been 100% underused, especially since the Hand of Thrawn disappears sometime during the Vong War. Voss Parck, Soontir Fel, and the Chiss in general. Then again, I given the general low quality of material coming from LucasFilm-and-related, I would prefer they left it alone and not ruin it like they did the Clone Wars. At least then there is some mystery. SOCL: Putting the BE in BEAK.Read the Forum Rules - Welcome the New Members - Rebellion Reloaded -
SWR Staff - Executive Evaders99 Posted October 16, 2006 SWR Staff - Executive Posted October 16, 2006 Well because they are basically Zahn's domain. No one messes with his storylines. It seems the Lucas editors will accept whatever he writes, so long as it doesn't majorly break the SW continuity.
