Guest Scathane Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 No, not the MTV program as you might have expected (although it's a great show!), but 10 billionaires rides...
Mad78 Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 Amazing how Billionaires seem to have most of the time enough sense to not spend all their money on their cars. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
Krytos Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 Amazing how Billionaires seem to have most of the time enough sense to not spend all their money on their cars. Well, most of them didn't have any super special cars. But Billy seems to have an idea about cars - the 911 type 996 Carrera Cabriolet is nice, but odd for a billionare.I agree I find it odd that Bill hasn't upgraded to either a 997 Carrera 4S Cab, or is on the waiting list for a 997 Turbo, or go a step further and purchase a super car around - maybe a Porsche Carrera GT, or a Pagani Zonda etc. (not a Ferrari F60 Enzo, for two reasons - 1 Ferrari chooses who gets to drive own the car, and 2 . . . there aren't anymore )The 959 on the other hand makes perfect sense, it's very rare car and would sell for around 1.5 Million http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://img152.imageshack.us/img152/1333/3dartistbanneranimationws1.gifhttp://img154.imageshack.us/img154/4026/rebellionbannerdi2.gif
Defender_16 Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 I have an idea... maybe he likes the car he has...
Mad78 Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 Quite a good point. Why change cars when the one you have at the moment does fine. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
Grand_Admiral_Thrawn Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 I was most surprised by what Ingvar Kamprad was driving - a 1993 Volvo 240 GL. Now there is a man who doesn't let his money go to his head! History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all.
Aenivae_Ikeda Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 Wow, I was expecting Ferrari galore... "I saw the greatest minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving, hysterical, naked, dragging themselves through the negro streets at dawn looking for an angry fix." -Allen Ginnsberg, "Howl"
General_Crespin Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 Bill Gates has a weird color on his car... Agreed, Ingvar Kamprad seems cool. I like Jim Walton's choice. If only it was a Ford. http://crespin.xwlegacy.net/pics/Shadowkeeper99a.jpg
DarthTofu Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 How in the world can a flipping Volvo be worth a couple billion bucks? Sheesh! 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
Guest Scathane Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 How in the world can a flipping Volvo be worth a couple billion bucks? Sheesh! ... No, smartlunch! The net worth of $23 billion listed underneath the picture of the Volvo is the net worth of its owner...
SWR Staff - Executive Evaders99 Posted March 3, 2006 SWR Staff - Executive Posted March 3, 2006 This thread makes me think of those "Unpimp the auto" commericials that are on quite frequently.. making fun of the Germans with their accented English and smashing "pimped out" cars. Must be one of the German auto makers.. never really paid attention who's its supposed to advertise.
