And what better to precede it than: A demo! Here is the site where I found the demo to download: http://www.ea.com/official/lordoftherings/bfme2/us/demodownload.jsp File download believes that this will take something like 13 hours, so... Yeah, might have to do some of this at night... Anyways, looks like a great RTS- I know I enjoyed the original BFME, and this one promises dragons and such in addition to automatically doing what makes the most tactical sense (IE pikemen to the front, infatry behind them, archers behind them). In addition to this there are new races to play as, such as Dwarves, Goblins, and Elves... So, yeah, for any of the other nerds out there ... But it really looks to be a great game. Finally, removing the building slots (unlike a certain other new RTS) in favor of a more free building placement. And building walls with fortifications and such.. cool. Naval battles will also be a part of the game. I can't think of anything bad about the demo except it requires Windows XP to run. I just don't like to use mere speculation - I prefer proof. I had it already downloaded, after the first day of the demo release. They can use all the LOTR resources, not just what was shown in the movies. Good demo-played around as the dwarves and had some fun beating the living daylights out of the goblins- kind of wish they had included men of the West, though... 'Course I'm playing this against a hard army, so...
