Digging Through Game Files

Ok. In all the years I have had this game, and all the times I played as the Rebels, I have never, EVER had Han get captured and sent to Jabba's Palace. I was wondering if there is a way I can open up the files in the game to look at the screen shots and if there are any voices. What would I have to do to find these files (please be gentle with me, I don't know much about this kind of thing).

No worries dude! Here's the path. You'll need Resource Hacker:

 

Open Resource Hacker and locate your Rebellion gamefiles on your Hard drive.

 

FILE, open, strategy.dll

 

4 options, expand the second one, bitmap

 

A huge list of folders. I suggest exploration, but i'll keep to your request, open folder 1053; Han captured by bounty hunters and delivered to Jabba

 

Open entry 1065, you'll see Luke in Jabba's court

 

entry 1066, our heros captured by Fett and delivered before Vader

entry 1067, again but with a post-Yoda Luke

 

The wav files that you hear are in the first folder. explore and you'll find them.

Han's combat rating plays a role. If you lower his combat rating (either in Rebed or injure him), he has a better chance of getting nabbed

There must be a value somewhere in the stategy dll that dictates how often this happens.

That was very cool. I found a few other cut scenes I had never seen before. One was with the Last Battle, but with Luke and Vader having their lightsabers ignited. Another was Luke facing Palpy, and Palpy was firing force lightning at him. Kudos to Jahled!!!

Are you kidding? Cactus needles have varying uses. Some witchdoctors of olde have sworn to the healing potency of boiled cactus needles. The coyotes and roadrunners of the desert use the cactus needle as toothpicks after a satisfying meal. Martha Stewart has a super recipe for Cactus Needle Suprise. And I believe that the U.S. government has determined that alien life stranded here on earth has been contacting their home worlds via cactus needles.
