As far as I know there's no equivalent for SW fans. Warsies sounds just silly.

But it gets even worse if you consider Babylon 5 fans (like me)... Babies? 8O

They call us nerds.

lol, nice. Yeah, nerds, geeks, whatever. :D I don't think there's an equivalent unless it was triumph the insult comic dog's interview with "Darth Vader"

Triumph: So, umm, what's this on your chest?

"Vader": This is, umm, this is my respiration equipment that helps me, umm, to breathe.

Triumph: I see... So umm, which one of these buttons do you press to call your mom to have her come pick you up?

heheh. Bit lengthy to use, though. Oddly enough, people who aren't devoted to either faction call SW fans Trekies. As if!

Warsies is actually a term used occasionaly, I've seen it come up in Star Trek vs Star Wars debates. Other terms that have been used include: Jedi and Stormies.

Actually there are two types of Star Trek fans, Trekkies and Trekkers. Trekkies are the ones you hear about (Conventions and the like) Whereas Trekkers are the more casual fans that realize its all fake.

Terms like nerd and geek are way to general to describe us... and even then, I think we have made more use of the term dweeb that any other...

Anyway, since we were the first ones to discover the existence of the dork side, I guess dorkies would be a suitable sobriquet....

I like Stormies. Warsies just sounds retarded.

I'm w/ Rob on this one. I can stand to be called a 'Stormie', even though I AM a Rebel fan.

I already don't like ST much but i laugh at does who think its all true. I know SW isn't... Even if i wish it was

As Mitth said, there are those of us who don't want to be called Stormie since they are Rebel afficionado's. Moreover, the term Stormie only relates to half of the story (or maybe not even half) Star Wars really is... (does that last sentence make sense?)

Thats even better...I approve.

I move that ALL Star Wars fans be known as 'Adepts of the Force' from now on. Anyone second the motion?

I just like being called Jedi or Sith. Personally I'm a Sith man... Now we have to add a pole as to what we should be called on our own forum by Trekies!

I dunno, I actually like Stawas. It has a certain... Coolness to it for me... Hell, why don't we find a Star Trek forum and ask them what they call us or if they like any of our names for ourselves?
