hecubus32 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Hi everyone, ive been running the warlords mod for a while now, but just recently i got aggrivated enough with it to come on here and look for answers. (yes i searched, no i didnt find it). whenever i run a player vs cpu, the only option since lan games tend to unsync very quickly, i end up with negative resources. it doesnt have to do with the install, ive freshly installed the whole game + patch + mod several times. if i harvest, have ru injections, lump sums etc, i end up going to -19678934 or some such after about 5 minutes. if i build something nothing happens besides the resources going to 0. ive tried several different scenario/injection combinations but i cant find one that works. this makes it unplayable because i cant build any ships and basically get romped by the AI. does anyone know why this happens or have a fix? (there are no error logs and the game doesnt crash).

hecubus32 Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 ive tried that, for some reason it does it even if i have injections off, if i just harvest with mole miners it still turns negative. they cant mine that much in 10 minutes i dont think. plus the RUs always "count" down, so if i start at 10000, after a minute or so i only have 5000 even if im not using any. im not sure this is a mod feature (i.e. fleets use resources just hanging around), but that may be part of the problem too.
