I enter Darth Vader in Wikipedia's main page...

 

I arrrive here (notice the redirected from Darth Vader at the top left, just under the title?).

 

So, I click that last link to arrive here...

 

I click the link listed there to arrive at a page identical to the initial page save for that redirect remark at the top left...

 

Why?

Must be the way you tipped the entery in the Wikipedia search engine. You used capitals for Darth and for Vader and the wiki entery only used capitals for the Darth.

I typed in Darth Vader in the search bar, and got linked correctly, without the redirect remark.

Are you sure you didn't just miss the capitalization of "Vader"?

Strange..., when I use this page it doesn't matter whether I type Darth Vader, Darth vader or darth vader. But only when I type darth Vader, I get the page without the redirect remark...

 

However, when I try this page, Darth vader and darth vader both give me the page with the redirect remark, whereas Darth Vader and darth Vader don't...
